Q.  How could shouting at your mother after stabbing her  "Die you fucking dog, die" whilst the mother called 000 for help, not be Murder , A. when your a woman and use the abuse  and self defense excuses, to avoid liability for your malicious acts.

A Sydney woman who stabbed her mother with a 12-centimetre kitchen knife and then screamed “die, die you dog!” as the bleeding woman rang triple-0 for help has been found guilty of manslaughter but not guilty of murder.

Krystal Jade Seymour, 25, stabbed her mother, Donna Marie Seymour, in the arm in the early hours of November 24, 2010, after a heated argument in the pair’s Giraween home, severing a major artery that caused her to bled to death.

During the trial in the NSW Supreme Court, the jury was played a triple-0 call in which the injured woman tells the operator: “I’m bleeding to death, she has cut an artery.”
In the background Seymour is heard screaming: “Die you f—ing dog, die! I hate you, I f—ing hate you.”

Seymour later admitted to stabbing her mother but said she was acting in self-defence and did not intend to kill her.

“She charged at me and she head-butted me,” the 25-year-old reportedly told police.
She also said that her mother had hit her on other occasions.

The prosecution asked the jury to find Seymour guilty of murder. But the jury rejected this, finding her guilty of manslaughter.
The case will return to court in June for sentencing.

Here we have 3 young women 2 single mothers, involved in drunken brawling outside a night club attempt to justify their violence by claiming they were provoked into being violent! Well as far a domestic violence, family violence, intimate partner violence, child abuse etc is concerned perpetrators must never claim "provocation" as an excuse, and exactly the same principle applies here.  One wonders what arrangements were made for care of their children whilst on their drunken rampage? or when after this they would resume responsibility for the care of their children, possibly still in a drunken or hung over state. Why is such maternal irresponsibility considered acceptable?

STARVED AND LOCKED FOR DAYS, LITTLE BOY 'ATE OWN HAIR'

A three-year-old boy almost died of starvation after being allegedly put in a freezing "punishment cell" at home where he was so hungry he ripped out his own hair and ate them, a UK court has heard.

The Daily Mail reports that the parents of the child have been jailed for keeping him in a tiny room with no lights, heating or food.

Mother Lisa Brooks, 25, and stepfather Tomas Lewis, 22 are alleged to have taken camera phone footage of the boy in the room.

The court was shown the footage that showed the boy naked in the room crying and hitting himself, with the defendants ordering him to stand facing the wall and saying he would not have any breakfast if he didn't do so.

The court heard that the boy - who cannot be named for legal reasons - was "hours away from death" due to extreme starvation and dehydration when he was rescued and rushed to hospital.

"I found the boy locked in a bare cell-like room. There was no lighting, the radiator was turned off and it was snowing outside. All there was in the room was a potty, a bowl and a fork," a teary-eyed PC James Periam who rescued the boy said.

Brooks and Lewis pleaded guilty to wilful neglect and were sentenced at Cardiff Crown Court on Wednesday.

A British court has heard shocking details of how a mother left her six-year-old daughter home alone to fend for herself for five days.

Natalie Terry, 28, had been jailed for 18 months for the abuse.

The youngster spent five days inside the house alone, surviving only on water, yoghurt and potato chips before she eventually knocked on a neibour's door to ask for help, saying 'my Mum has left me for five days and she has not come back'.

Britain's Daily Mail newspaper reported that police found cat faeces in virtually every room.

Maidstone Crown Court heard that when police interviewed Terry before she was arrested, she simply said: ‘I neglected my daughter . . . end of.’

Terry admitted child cruelty charges. The court was told she tried to get home before her daughter woke up after working through the night at a shop, the Daily Mail reported.

She did not explain where she had been for the five days.

A UK mother who left her 16-month-old daughter alone for five nights running while she went out drinking is facing jail.

The Daily Mail reports the 20-year-old Brecon woman was away for up to 22 hours a day, making only "fleeting visits" to feed the girl.

Police broke into the woman's filthy house after neighbours heard the baby girl's screams and alerted them.
They reportedly found the baby starving in her cot, her nappy and clothes had not been changed for days and there was blood on a blanket.

According to reports, the mother - who cannot be legally identified - was found at a friend's house and admitted leaving her daughter so that she could party.

She is said of have stayed out for five consecutive nights over the Christmas and New Year holidays.

The court heard she fed her daughter Cheerios breakfast cereal and bread before leaving again for more all-night parties.

"It is a very serious case leading to pain and suffering and misery for the baby. On the face of it this is a case which requires a prison sentence," Judge Richard Twomlow said.

The woman has pleaded guilty and will be sentenced at a later date. The baby is now being cared for by relatives.

A Spanish businesswoman killed her workmate and then injected the semen of male prostitutes into her mouth and vagina to make it look as if she had been raped and murdered.
María Ángeles Molina was jailed for 22 years yesterday for the grisly crime committed to cover up identify theft and plot to steal €1million in an insurance scam.
The killer, known as Angie, lured her friend Ana Páez to a Barcelona apartment she had fraudulently rented in her victim's name just three days before.
She sedated her friend before placing a plastic bag over her head and sealing it with gaffer tape.
To make it look like her victim had been raped, Molina then injected the semen, which she had obtained from a brothel.
The elaborate cover-up came after Molina had stolen Páez's identity and used it to take out bank loans and insurance policies worth €1million in her name.
She was pictured on CCTV entering a bank, wearing a wig, to withdraw €600 from an account in her victim's name.

Teacher, 27, charged with rape after 'arranging hotel hook-up with 17-year-old male student'

A 27-year-old teacher was picked up by officers in Oklahoma after she allegedly arranged a hotel sex tryst with one of her students.
Erin Kathleen Queen, who teaches English and coaches 9th grade girls basketball at Charles Page High School in Sand Springs, was charged with rape after her arrest Saturday.
Police said Queen arranged to meet the 17-year-old, who was one of her students, at the Candlewood Suites in Tulsa on Friday night.

Police told MailOnline that the teen's parents called police from the hotel early Saturday morning after discovering their son was there with Queen, and identified her as his teacher.
Officers responded to the hotel, where they took Queen into custody.

Though cops said the sex was consensual, Queen was charged with rape due to Oklahoma law, which lists one of its definitions of rape as sexual intercourse between a student under 18 and an employee of the same school system or other authority figure.

Queen was booked into the Tulsa County Jail and later released on $50,000 bond.

In Adelaide yesterday the Courts witnessed another case of a female being accused of a type of behaviour that was long thought to be the sole domain of men.
Hot on the heals of an escalation of charges against women for child abuse, child sexual assault, fraud, female to female violence, and female to male domestic violence, we get another news item of a women who broke into the home of a male with the intention to commit rape.
One has to wonder whether this female initiated abuse is a new phenomenon, or whether it was always there, but now is simply being more aggressively reported.
An Adelaide woman has been ordered to stand trial accused of breaking into a man’s home and raping him.
Rebecca Helen Elder appeared in the District Court yesterday morning on one count of aggravated serious criminal trespass in a place of residence and one count of rape.
She pleaded not guilty to one count of aggravated serious criminal trespass in a place of residence, and one count of rape.
Prosecution documents, filed with the court, allege both offences took place at a suburban location between September 20 and September 23 last year.
At trial, prosecutors will allege Elder broke into a house while its male occupant – who cannot be named – was lawfully on the premises.
They will further allege she broke in with the intention of committing a further offence of rape.
Finally, prosecutors will allege Elder raped the man by performing an act of oral sex without his consent, before performing an act of oral sex without the man’s consent.
She has pleaded not guilty to the charges but a judge ordered she stand trial over the police claims.
Despite the seriousness of the allegations, Judge Wayne Chivell agreed for Elder to continue to be free on bail,  and faces court again next month.

(CNN) -- A South Carolina mother on Friday asked for forgiveness and mercy, in the eyes of God and a judge, after pleading guilty to two counts of murder for killing her two toddler sons -- saying she hoped to someday reunite with them, "even though it's not on this side of eternity."
"I know what happened is ... unusual and it's not my character," a tearful Shaquan Duley said in an Orangeburg court after entering her plea. "I don't know what went on with me."
Authorities have said that on the night of August 15, 2010, Duley suffocated 2-year-old Devean Duley and 1-year-old Ja'Van Duley by putting her hand over their mouths in a room at the Trumps Inn just outside Orangeburg.
She then put their bodies into their car seats, drove across town to a boat ramp, put the Chrysler sedan in neutral and sent it into the North Edisto River, they said.
Duley's then-5-year-old daughter was not with them at the time.
Orangeburg County Sheriff Larry Williams said soon after the incident that authorities believed the deaths were "a direct response" to an argument between Duley and her mother, who lived together, the night before.
"I believe she was just fed up with her mother telling her she couldn't take care of the children," Williams said.

A female teacher at a prestigious Melbourne school failed to heed warnings about her relationship with a 16-year-old female student, a court has heard.

The teacher, 29, committed several offences against the girl between November 2010 and January last year.

Many details, including the name of the teacher, the name of the school and the location at which the offences occurred, have been suppressed.

The County Court heard three other teachers at the school had made complaints about the woman's relationship with the student and she was told at a conference with a senior member of staff that she was to stop contact with the student and discourage her from visiting her office.

Crown prosecutor Chris Ryan, SC, told the court that in the days following the conference the teacher, who can be referred to only as STC, replied to the headmistress that she believed her relationship with the student had been one of a supportive teacher.

STC said she had made sure meetings with the student had been in public areas and there were no unnecessary meetings.

STC also said that she did not believe that the student was dependent upon her and "I'm certainly not dependent on her or other students".

"I don't see students as friends, and I have no plans on making friendships," she said.

"My intentions have always been to be a supportive teacher."

Judge Michael McInerney noted that there had been no allegations of sexual misconduct made by the other teachers but that at the time STC replied to the headmistress she had already committed several offences.

STC has pleaded guilty to five charges including sexual penetration of child aged 16 or 17 under care, supervision or authority.

Mr Ryan said: "These are serious instances of offending by a person who is effectively in loco parentis".

He added that STC should have been aware, given her career as a teacher, of the boundaries between a student and teacher.

Defence Counsel Phillip Priest, QC, said STC had "true remorse" and a "constellation of psychiatric factors" including post-traumatic stress disorder and depression that could in part explain the offending.

He said his client was "psycho-sexually immature and will be more vulnerable to more robust and hardened individuals she will inevitably encounter".

He said Judge McInerney could consider STC's loss of career, lack of prior convictions and previous good character as mitigating factors in sentencing.

Judge McInerney continued STC's bail until next month's sentencing hearing.

POLICE fear more young girls may have been victims of a child prostitution ring in Sydney and are too frightened to come forward.

One of the girls who was enticed into having sex in cars and motels with male clients was 13, police will allege.

Officers of Strike Force Woodvale arrested a 22-year-old woman at Warwick Farm, in the city's southwest, at about 8.30am (AEST) and charged her with armed robbery and child prostitution offences.

Liverpool crime manager Danny Doherty said the woman preyed on girls living on the street and in refuges for the homeless.

"These girls may be too scared to come forward or may be traumatised by the acts, but I urge them to contact police so they can get the necessary support they need," Detective Inspector Doherty said.

Police suspect the woman lured at least three girls into the prostitution ring that operated for about three months.

She allegedly contacted her clients by phone and arranged for them to meet the girls in cars and motels.

"It's a sad reflection on society when you've got a 22-year-old woman soliciting and making money out of kids as young as 13," Detective Inspector Doherty said.

Detectives are yet to determine how she advertised, but they believe she offered the sexual services of young girls.

"It's obviously very unusual for a young woman to be arranging other young women to engage in acts of prostitution," Detective Inspector Doherty said.

Police also allege the woman was involved in an armed robbery of a person in February.

She was charged today, with promoting child prostitution, obtaining benefit from child prostitution and armed robbery.

The woman was refused police bail and is to appear in Parramatta Bail Court tomorrow.

Australian Mum Drowns Son's

Australian mother Allyson McConnell drowned her two young sons in a bathtub before driving to a restaurant, ordering lunch and then jumping off an overpass onto a busy freeway, a Canadian court has heard.

McConnell is charged with the 2010 second-degree murders of two-year-old Connor and 10-month-old Jayden in Millet, south of Edmonton.

The trial began in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, on Monday.

McConnell, 33, formerly of Gosford on the NSW central coast, moved to Canada in 2005, met local man Curtis McConnell and married him in 2007.

Prosecutors said the marriage deteriorated, McConnell was angry with her estranged husband and wanted to take their sons back to Australia.

The court was told on the day before the boys were killed, McConnell tried to give away the children's clothing and a car seat.

After McConnell drowned the boys in the family bathtub she drove to a restaurant, ordered lunch and then left upset, it was alleged.

McConnell walked to the overpass and jumped off, suffering numerous broken bones, the court heard.

The Crown alleged police searched her home and found a rope tied to the rafters in the basement.

The trial continues.

Alberta mother web-researched killing methods before drowning kids, court told

 WETASKIWIN, Alta. — On the morning of Feb. 1, 2010, Allyson McConnell sat down at the computer set up on her dining room table and searched the question, "How long does it take to die from strangulation?"

By the end of the day, McConnell had killed her two children, drowning 10-month-old Jayden and 2 1/2-year-old Connor in the bathtub of the family's bungalow in Millet, Alta.

She then drove into Edmonton and threw herself off an overpass into traffic.

Teen girl's rape lie led to murder of 17-year-old boy

Stephen Lyne was just 17-years-old when he was stabbed to death in June 2009 because a teenage girl lied that he had raped her.  The young man who stabbed Stephen has subsequently died in an unrelated incident, and now the deceased assailant's conspirator is on trial.

In the course of the trial, Jessica Klok, 18, took the stand and admitted under oath to lying about being raped by Stephen Lyne. Klok admitted that she communicated the lie to the assailant. The assailant stabbed and killed Stephen in retaliation for the alleged rape of Klok.

"I lied that Stephen Lyne had raped me," Jessica Klok told the court. "It was just a blatant, disgusting lie."  

Klok was not charged for any criminality in connection with her lie, despite her reckless indifference to a young man's life that set in motion a terrible, and foreseeable, outcome.  History has taught us that once unleashed, it is not unusual for a rape lie to destroy a man's life.

The victim's sister, Sophia Lyne, testified that before her brother's death, the assailant repeated the rape allegation to her and was "really mad and angry" about it. Ms. Lyne said that the assailant had told her that he was "going to get Stephen himself for this" and that he was going to stab him.

Another witness verified that the rape lie was the assailant's motivation for the stabbing.

Stephen's mother broke down in court as she described the last time she saw her son alive.
